Since 1996, Walker Royall has served as president of Dallas-based Briarwood Capital and managed the personnel, third-party vendor negotiations, leasing, and investment activities of the firm. Walker Royall is actively involved with Dads’ Partnership at the Episcopal School of Dallas (ESD).
One of the four organizations overseen by the Parents’ Association at ESD, Dads’ Partnership develops programs and plans activities between fathers and their children to promote positive relationships within families, the school, and the community. The activities include breakfast and lunch meetings, outdoor excursions, movie nights, carpool service, and sports tournaments.
In 2014, Dads’ Partnership also founded the ESD WORX Internship Program to help seniors participate in summer internships. Dads’ Partnership works with ESD’s Office of College Guidance and its alumni association to prepare seniors during the application and interview process. For the last seven years, the program has helped more than 500 student-interns work over 25,000 internship hours at companies in nearly 40 industries.
